Thursday Feb.17th.

Clara is doing wonderful! She is sitting on the side of the bed, walking some and talking. She also said that she could see much better today, her #'s are good. The doctor is proud of how good she is doing. Clara should be in a room (out of ICU) tomorrow and may come home Sat. or Sunday. Clara will be on rejections medicine the rest of her life.
Here is a funny reply Clara gave to the doctor: After her surgery the doctor was waking her and asked "Clara do you know what has been done to you?" Clara replied " Yes, you gave me a new GIZZARD" Too funny, she still has her sense of humor :). We all are so happy for Clara!
  • Now to report on the fundraising. The collection for Clara is at $5,543.25 which does not include the money buckets from Woodlawn School and the Beta Chicken Dinners. But how wonderful, just in a few weeks this amount of money has been donated for Clara's Fund!
