Friday Feb. 18th

Clara is doing GOOD!!! She is supposed to have solid foods for lunch today. She may go home Saturday, but Clara and JL will stay in a hotel in LR for 3 to 4 days, just for precautions. JL and Lisa were instructed this morning on Clara's meds and how to give her shots. JL stated "I gave Clara her shot the first time and she didn't even yell, I did good!" Good job JL!

Thursday Feb.17th.

Clara is doing wonderful! She is sitting on the side of the bed, walking some and talking. She also said that she could see much better today, her #'s are good. The doctor is proud of how good she is doing. Clara should be in a room (out of ICU) tomorrow and may come home Sat. or Sunday. Clara will be on rejections medicine the rest of her life.
Here is a funny reply Clara gave to the doctor: After her surgery the doctor was waking her and asked "Clara do you know what has been done to you?" Clara replied " Yes, you gave me a new GIZZARD" Too funny, she still has her sense of humor :). We all are so happy for Clara!
