Clara will go to the doctor on Monday. She will have an xray of her lungs and blood work. This will be done for her pre op. She will also be seeing the Kidney doctor and the Surgeon. She is still doing better!!
The meeting last night went well. Things are moving along well with all the fundraising events. The following is what is going on:
  • Barbara Stover along with others are contacting business for donations. The donations will be in the Auction set for March 12th at Center Baptist Church Gym 4:00. If you have any items for the auction you can drop them off at the gym starting Wed. March 9th OR contact Barbara or any other committee member. All proceeds will be given to Clara's Liver Transplant Fund. Here are just a few items that have been collected so far: Babysitting service for 5 hours, House cleaning service for 6 hours, Mike Lane- hour of flying time, Dollar General, Men's work boots, Walmart, cakes, cookies, pies and more and more. At the auction we will have pulled pork sandwiches for sale so come have supper and enjoy the auction.
  • If you or your business would like a label for money buckets contact Pam Woolley. Be sure to put your name on the bottom of the bucket. Speaking of the money buckets, Woodlawn School K-12 raised $1,225.75 in ONE WEEK! Great Job Kiddos!
  • Candy has arrived. The candy will be sold at some business and Woodlawn School.
  • Pam Woolley will be going to bank today to make the first deposit for Clara's Liver Transplant Fund!
  • We have already sold 100 cookbooks, so you know what that means, yes we will order more!!! Don't forget, anyone that would like to take a box (25 in a box) to work contact Candy Qualls or Deloris Stover.
JL is amazed and SO appreciative of all the love and support from this community. Let's try to go out and beyond our wonderful community to get more wonderful people involved.
