Monday Jan. 31st

JL reported that Clara went this morning for her blood work. The blood work will be sent to UAMS tomorrow, then they will contact JL with the results. Clara is better today than she has been in awhile. Also she is moving around alot better! Way to go Clara, we are proud to hear this news.
JL stated that they were BLESSED with having Lisa in their lives. Everyone thanks you Lisa.

Sunday Jan. 30th

Exciting News!!!
The Cookbooks are here. The name of the cookbooks are Recipes for Life and Clara's photo is on the first page inside. The price for the cookbooks are $12.00. 1/2 the money will be given to Clara's Liver Transplant Fund and the remaining 1/2 will go to NFT. Mt. Olivet sold a box of 25 this morning!!!We have 100 remaining, but if we run out we will order more. Contact Candy Qualls or Deloris Stover if you would like to purchase a cookbook OR two. Some people are taking a box to work, 25 are in a box.

For the next several weeks we are meeting at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church 6:30 if anyone would like to attend. Everyone is welcome, we are open for any fundraising ideas for Clara.

Saturday Jan. 29th

Today is shopping day for the Valentine Banquet to be held at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church. Brooke Smith and family are getting all the goodies! Half of the money will be given to Clara's Liver Transplant Fund SO anyone that would like to purchase tickets contact Brooke Smith or any youth from Mt. Olivet Methodist Church. The date is Feb.12th 6:00 pm. You will have a GREAT evening!

Cookbook and Candy sale is coming soon.

Clara is more alert, but not at 100%, she is still having trouble with nausea.

Today was silent auction for desserts at Woodlawn School! Will post the turn out. Thanks to all the wonderful cooks who made the desserts!!!

Clara got to come home this afternoon, she is feeling better! Please continue to pray for Clara.

Fundraising committees met at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church tonight. We have lots of great ideas for upcoming events for Clara. If anyone has ideas or suggestions for fundraisers, please post them!

The following are some of the ideas:
Jugs passed around at the schools with incentive for prizes per grade.
GT pizza day will donate $1.00 per pizza
Tshirt sales
Valentine Banquet at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church
Community Easter Egg Hunt
Parent / Faculty Basketball
Softball Tournaments
Bake sales
Dance
Wine Tasting
Guided Hog and or Turkey Hunt
Meals to go
Community Concert
Movie on the football field with pizza
Bazaar and or yard sales including hand made arts/crafts

Tuesday Jan. 25th.

Today the Beta Club at Woodlawn High School held a chicken spaghetti/Regular spaghetti dinner. The proceeds went 1/2 for Clara's transplant and 1/2 went toward the Beta Club. Thanks Beta Club and the community for all your support!
